The day after Christmas is a boxing day !

Now seriously , have you wondered why the fuck was it called a Boxing Day in the first place ?!

Well , I dug into my curiousity and asked the people who would know best , the English .

These are the answers I got :

1. There used to be big boxing title matches held a day after X-mas . This person also went on to add that this was also to commemorate great English boxers .. 

• I thought to myself , yeah .. that sounded rather neat 

1.  Another mate of mine said well , he has heard rumours that because the country went on such a massive sale on this day .. they simply called it boxing day cause people almost came to blows whilst hunting for the best bargains 

• I thought to myself , this was the kinda story that was acceptable while under the influence of alcohol

Oh well ... so I decided on the whole Boxing match thing , it was the answer for my much anticipated question . Recently , I went for dinner with some of my 'intellectual' friends who love digging soil from other people's garden if ya' know what I mean . They all blew up to laughter when I tried to conceal my foolishness by coming up with my grand answer while discussing the topic yet again - Why is it called Boxing Day !

So , I got in deeper to find these facts in which thought I might as well share with my mates and readers

• The boxing fuckin' day has got nothing to do with witht the contest of sparring or people coming to blows over a sale item 
• Oxford English Dictionary says this comes from the Christmas box; the verb box meaning: To give a Christmas-box, and then leading to the term boxing-day
  
• Traditionally, 26th of December was the day to open the Christmas Box to share the contents with the poor
• The Christmas box was a wooden or clay container where people placed gifts
• Others believe that the Boxing Day tradition originated as a holiday for members of the upper class to give boxes containing food , clothing or money to tradespeople and servants , in much the same way that many employers offer their employees bonuses today . These gifts were usually given in boxes ; hence the name 'Boxing Day' 

Now , the next time someone asks you .. this question , you know what to say . And take that moment thanking me for educating you ! :)

A dash ..

No , I'm just sitting on my couch on a Friday night .. had a flash of thoughts go past me like click ! click ! click !
Anyways , I am contemplating on whether to write about what others want to read .. filter some objectives to meself or just let it all go . Sometimes I got so much to write so much ideas and then I think , fuck but if I write about this and that , everyone will know me too well .. Well , I've said this time and time before and not meaning it would make me a fuckin' loser .. So I say it again , fuck what you think . I know I am a nice person and good things happen to good people !

Well , despite everything that's going through in me life .. I feel like I have not done much . I wanna do so much more .. I wanna do this and fuckin' do that but for some fuckin' weird reasons I gotta live in what is a dwell of the society .. do what brings me forward , brings me real ..to be appreciated in the society .

I had this weird thought in me head .. fuck saving money and travelling . How about I went to the airport tomorrow , sat in front of the airport with a sign that says , I need 400 pounds to get to Chile . And just sit there until I got the money .. and then fly there ! Even if it takes weeks ..

Once I get there , travel the entire of Chile , make me music .. travel , meet people , play music , spread the love .. spread the free hugs and get my ass back to London after a year . The best part is .. without actually having money in my mind . Just go with the flow , ain't that how life is meant to be ? Free ? Free ? Free ??!!! What is freedom if you can't live and move around without containing yourself . We got freedom when we were able to accept each other on earth .. so why not surge yourself with the world . Wow .. :)

Well , just a very strong thought that the world should have no borders .. religion should not separate people , colours is just a variation of beauty . I may break this boundaries , wish me luck . When I get stronger , this is my next destination in life . To live my life free .. I sure will . If you feel me , stand with me . If you don't , take two steps back and get fucked with yourself . He owns this bar up the hills , far from the loud music , drunken tourists and people who think they can own anything by flashing the dollars

Don : So , how are you today Pavin ..

Pavin : I am good bru , just nice to be out here away from the centre , chillin with you

Don proceeds to play some Bob Marley music and we have a smoke together ..

An hour later .. a group of 6 tourists walk into the bar 

( typical drunk tourists )

Tourists : Yo man , nice cafe .. we want some beer and smoke ! You got some smokes ?

Don : Thank you , but we are closed for today and no , I am not a drug dealer but have a nice day guys

Don walks back to me ..

Don : You know Pavin , I built this entire bar using recycled things from garbage bins etc . I built this place with passion and with my bare hands . I am happy to sell 2 bottles of beer and have a good time with my customers as this 2 beers can get me through another day .. I can buy my food tomorrow . That is enough for me .. I am not into making lotsa money , money makes you change , money makes you greedy

Pavin : Yeah man , I feel you

But this literally took me aback , the line he told me was striking back at me time and time again . In the 21st century , where people would stab and kill to make money or simply be on the top . There still are nice people .. Where is this materialistic plastic world taking me really ?!

Been back to meet my brother Don everytime I was in Thailand even if it was for just a cup of iced tea

I took only those who were close to me , those who would feel the need for a change, who would take a moment to think and to those who would get in one with the nature

Mind you Darren is a person who comes up with very catchy phrases that often becomes a trend and this is exactly what happened :)

We then laughed hysterically .. I dunno why !

Let me give you a little bit of insides concerning this filth in lay man's terms :

Malaysia's beach a dump !

Well , a Swedish Health Scientist who was on holiday in Malaysia's famous Batu Ferringhi in Penang rapped the authorities for completely ignoring the value of maintaining beautiful beaches in Malaysia whilst on holiday here for 2 weeks !

Well , Penang is definitely one of my favourite states in Malaysia but in these last few years , I have seen nothing but deterioration of cleanliness at beaches that has been taken for granted ..

When I go to the beaches .. I got me stuff - My beach mats / board shorts / Beer ! / Towel and food stuff . I never leave a trace when I pack my shit up but I have seen people simply discarding their stuff as they leave . You expect the rubbish to vanish magically .

How about caring more for our nature for a change ?  Our actions will cause devastating consequences in the future . Tourists who come to Malaysia will soon turn their heads and move up to Thailand . I wouldn't blame them , I wouldn't wanna be on a shitty looking beach , would you ?

Penang government .. step up your game , stop playing your political games and get to work !

I quote back to you , you 'the people who have been chosen by us for some mistaken reasons' have given RPK no other means but to leave his own home ' .. and if you were a real friend , you would really get the big picture . Do not make comments just to be in the papers or the media . This is what we have been used to for donkey fuckin' years and this cheap publicity perhaps would gain you some attention , very

We have never been forced by RPK to accept his views but has actually spoken on behalf of the majority of the people in Malaysia . Lastly , please don't ever ever mention the word human rights and freedom of speech in Malaysia because there ain't none . Face it or Embrace it ..
